It’s that time of year again when we invite you to renew your Institute of Designers in Ireland Membership. We have just launched a new facility on the IDI website where you can renew your membership online. Design @ UL- The UL Graduate Design Exhibition is opening on the evening of the 24th of May and will be open to the public from 25th of May until the 3rd of June in the Former Franciscan Church, Henry Street, Limerick.
IDI TRAINING PROGRAMME
The Institute of Designers in Ireland (IDI) is introducing a new series of training modules specifically for their interior design and architecture members but open to all designers.
The launch of the training programme will take place on the 30th May in the Malthouse Design Centre.
The first module will consist of a workshop on lighting. We welcome all designers who have an interest in lighting to attend.
The IDI held its AGM last Thursday (26/04/12) . The incoming IDI President John Walsh said he was honoured to take over from Carol Coffey, whose outstanding contribution to the IDI over the last year will be very difficult to follow, a view also expressed in many other contributions throughout the evening.
